We loved this unpretentious restaurant, recommended by fans in the stands during a rugby match. When you learn that the owner is none other than Jean-Baptiste Elissalde (a French national team player in the 2000s), why not go? We appreciated the warm welcome, and my wife enjoyed her mixed salad, while I enjoyed my steak frites. Until next time. Signed by a Vendée native who loves the "Maritimes" (a local rugby team) and, more recently, the Vannes team (relegated to Ligue 2). For rugby lovers and tourists alike, this is a great place to eat. It's a shame it's so hard to get tickets at the Stade Deflandre; otherwise, we'd come more often.
