Avec Amour sur Terville

We went to the restaurant "Avec Amour" last week. The waitress explained that in the evening, we had to choose between the "pleasure menu" or the "gourmet menu." We chose the former... I appreciated being asked about any allergies or intolerances, and this was taken into account in the dishes since my daughters are lactose intolerant. And everything went well... :) It was my first experience with game: wild boar steak. A very good culinary experience. I agree with the comments about the wait; it is indeed long. My youngest fell asleep at the table, but the servers were very attentive: the gentleman apologized for the wait, and we were able to take her dessert home, which she ate the next day. I appreciated that the chef came to the table to present the dishes. Thank you! (2 pleasure meals, 2 children's menus, and drinks: €214.50)

Always a very warm welcome with refined and delicious cuisine, I highly recommend this establishment! For me, the best restaurant in the Thionville region, well worth the detour!

We had lunch at the Avec Amour restaurant on Thursday, December 4th at 12:00 PM. From a culinary standpoint, the perfect egg and the amuse-bouche were very good. However, the overall experience was significantly marred by the service, which was both slow (nearly two hours for lunch) and clumsy. From the beginning to the end of the meal, we received no information about the dishes. The menu was never presented, and we had to ask for it, while the tables that arrived after us received it immediately, along with explanations. This disparity in treatment makes us wonder: was it because we were with a child? The dessert listed on the menu, a soufflé with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, was disappointing: the scoop of ice cream was tiny, barely the size of a teaspoon. Another surprising point: the carafe of water, charged at €6.50, was advertised as "unlimited" but automatically added to the bill. The atmosphere was calm, but the lack of attentiveness and warmth in the service significantly detracted from the experience. In short, the food was excellent, but the service was clearly below expectations.

I finally got to experience the chef's talent, which had been so highly praised. I wasn't disappointed at all, and what I tasted truly lived up to my expectations. A restaurant you absolutely must try. What I also appreciate is being able to get dishes adapted to individual dietary restrictions. Well done and thank you.

A cozy atmosphere in a restaurant with an original menu

We had already been several times, and this time again, it was a magical experience. The waitress was very welcoming. The food is delicious. And the restaurant's decor is magnificent. Thank you!

A superb restaurant where we were welcomed with exceptional warmth and attentiveness. As for the cuisine, it was a true delight; the seasonal produce was sublime, the flavors were perfectly balanced and expertly presented, and the dishes were beautifully elegant. The entrance to the restaurant is well hidden but it's worth the search. The welcome is perfect. The room isn't very big but it's very beautiful and well soundproofed. The dishes are delicious. As usual, I only had the main course and dessert... I regretted it when I saw the starter arrive on my neighbors' plates😅. The menu isn't cheap but I think it's fairly priced considering the quality of the dishes, the service and the calm and cozy atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.

Pleasant discovery, attentive staff, I am particularly difficult this is the first time I have enjoyed all the dishes.
