An unusual place with a warm welcome where we stopped to enjoy a refreshing drink 💦 on the shaded terrace 🥵🌳 during the Avignon Festival

The owner is a wonderful host in her authentic cave. The medieval Street and structures are astounding. Enjoy a drink by the historic water wheel,cobblestone art, ancient plane trees & historic stone benches. It's fantastic prices for quality drinks, high-end taps for beer with a glass rinse before each pour. Don't miss her wonderful formage specials and happy hour starts at 6:00 p.m.. Remember the French tradition for a cave, you need to go to the bar and order then pay each order. And you really need to tip. Travelers you need to experience where the locals hang out.

Quaint bar. They offer light snacks, and the drink prices were perfectly reasonable. A 0.5-liter shandy was €4.50. You can sit outside; if the tables are full, you can just sit on the wall. Hardly any tourists, mostly locals.

A lovely little idyllic café, right by the city wall next to a stream. We had tea and coffee. Everything was very reasonably priced. Art everywhere, just the way we like it. Apparently, they sometimes have live music in the evenings. We didn't order any food.

I love coming to this place every year! It still has its quirky spirit and good living atmosphere, it's always a joy.
