We've been to this restaurant several times, and our dog is always very welcome. The couscous and tagines are excellent and very generous, the staff are friendly, and the prices are reasonable. The setting is pleasant with lovely decor, and the location is right in the heart of Avignon. We highly recommend it! 🐾🍛

An exceptional restaurant that we had the pleasure of trying one weeknight, as a couple. A very cozy atmosphere, a very warm welcome, generous and delicious dishes, completely authentic. Thank you to the waiter who took the time to advise us, explain the menu in detail, and to the chef. We were even offered dessert. I have rarely had such a good experience in a restaurant, having worked in the industry myself. We will gladly return with our family. Thank you again!

I ate at the Riad two or three weeks ago, and I'm posting my review now because I really wanted to. Superb place, very traditional and welcoming atmosphere. The service is good and the waiters are friendly. The food is very good, no complaints there. Having a good knowledge of North African cuisine, I can say that with conviction. Why 4 stars instead of 5? The bread. The decor, the plates, the glasses, everything is perfect. But a baguette instead of Arabic bread—I think that's a mistake that could easily be avoided. That's the only minor issue that bothered me a little. Otherwise, everything was top-notch.

17/02/2026: The food was good, the cooking was well-executed, but it lacked boldness; a bit more flavor would have been welcome. The puff pastry on the gravlax was bland, and the salmon was timid in both quantity and taste. The fried fish was too salty, too heavy, and its sauce was rather bland. The tuna of the day was very good, as was its side dish. The service lacked confidence but remained classic and competent. More flair, ladies and gentlemen! Special mention for the rum.
