Baan Thais sur Paris

21/11/2024: After taking a year-long break, I found myself back at Malis, and it was as comforting as ever. I went with the tamarind soup and grilled beef, which were fresh and tangy in all the right ways. The beef was tender and tasty, though I wouldn’t have minded a bit more char for that perfect smoky edge. There was also a funny little moment when I first walked in. I spoke in English, and the first staff member greeted me in English as well. But then, I overheard one of her colleagues tell her, “Just greet him in Khmer.” After that, we switched to Khmer, and it felt like they were happy to fully welcome a fellow Khmer speaker. I need to work on my undercover skills.

16/11/2024: Honestly I recommend crazy!! I came with my dad today, we had 2 S1 (rice paste soup with beef and beef meatballs) it's very filling, a good quantity! We were super happy with a very hot comforting dish, I loved it! After that we let ourselves be tempted by desserts, he had the bananas and tapioca pearls with coconut milk and it was super good!!! For my part, I had bahn duc (coconut milk, caramel and block of green rice paste) it was excellent! Really a very good restaurant!
