Bagelstein sur Paris

The bagels were very good. We ate on the sidewalk terrace in a quiet street. The waitress was a bit pushy but very friendly.

Unfortunately, the experience was very mixed. While the bagels were delicious and visually appealing, several things marred the overall impression. There were two of us, we arrived at 1:30 pm, and we weren't served until a little after 2:40 pm for just two hot bagels! That's over an hour's wait! We hadn't been warned beforehand that the wait would be long, which was a shame because we were only in Paris for the day and didn't have time to visit anything in the afternoon. No apology was given. So we ate quickly and had to get our desserts to go because we didn't have time to eat them there! The same thing happened when it came time to pay; the waitress, who also made the bagels, was juggling multiple tasks, so we waited another 15 minutes to pay. As a result, we left after 3 pm (we didn't even pay attention to the exact time at that point)! That's a very long wait for fast food; even in a traditional restaurant, meals take less time. Furthermore, no cutlery was provided for eating the bagel, so it wasn't easy; it dripped everywhere, and the measly little paper napkin wasn't enough to mop it all up. We ended up with greasy hands! We don't blame the waitress, who was constantly busy, but there's clearly an organizational problem! Luckily, it was still tasty!

Delicious and the staff were amazing! I highly recommend it.
