Highly recommended. Big compliments to Jimmy. This charming and delightful waiter welcomed me to this temple of gastronomy with the utmost respect. The moment I walked through the door, his wonderful gaze and his spontaneous "Bonjour," delivered with the same carefree abandon I use to toss a piece of bread to the ducks in their pond, instantly cured me of the incurable depression I'd suffered since I was in my mother's womb. Jimmy kindly treated my shoulder injury with a massage that only he seems to know how to perform; then, with grace and gentleness, he prepared a bagel whose flavor kept my taste buds intensely awakened. I hadn't experienced such a powerful sensation since my wild high school days, when I went skydiving with marmots from the top of Notre Dame Cathedral in Strasbourg. The salad, green as the sky, was a wonderful counterpoint to the perfectly salted salmon, whose spirited swims in the rivers of the far north I could still almost smell. The bread was worthy of an experienced baker; I have no doubt about Jimmy's skill. After savoring nine bagels, Jimmy offered me a pistachio cookie, sweet as the spring sunshine, which perfected my meal like tires on a car. In short, Jimmy is the heart and soul of Bagelstein Strasbourg. I predict a bright future for him. He should be the global president of Bagelstein. He even fixed my bike, repainted the facade of my house, and brought my great-grandparents back to life. Thank you, Jimmy. You never forget an encounter like that. Jimmy, I LOVE YOU! By the way, Alice also does a pretty good job.
