How to have a successful lunch break... I always enjoy going to this chain in the city center. The decor, all covered in quirky, funny, or provocative quotes, is fantastic. Today was my day, or rather, our hero's day... Upon arriving, I was quickly served by a young woman. I observed the rest of the team nearby, manually devouring a strange Google review. They seemed to be in their element, their eyes glued to this odd opinion (and I'm being polite). Once their extracurricular activity was over, the rest of the team assisted their colleague and also served me. With, how shall I put it, a very special, even downright creepy, way of charging me... The reason? I have absolutely no idea where I put my credit card that day. As if paying with a smile wasn't enough, I decided to pay in cash... Wow! I must be really, really special. Besides the fact that it's particularly unexpected, and rather awkward not knowing where I put my credit card, it's quite amusing to be observed like that by someone who genuinely gives off an impression of kindness in the face of my unforeseen predicament... The "come as you are" attitude as a customer, fine, why not. But within the bounds of respect, discretion, and basic etiquette, which, it seems to me, are essential in business. Well, I didn't understand everything either, but I got my bagel and I paid, that's all that matters. That was your minute of business consulting, and I'm sharing it with you too.

I noticed, not far from him, a young woman in the middle of manually devouring fries, first dipping them in sauce, her gaze unfocused (and I'm being polite). Well, taking your lunch break, so conspicuously, in front of the customers, must be very "cool"... Once her extracurricular activity was finished, she assisted her colleague and also served me. With, how shall I put it, a very peculiar, even downright creepy, way of staring at me... The reason? I'm completely unable to tell you. As if the visual fixation wasn't enough, she made a comment in a low voice to her colleague, who then looked at me in turn... Wow! I must be really, really special. Besides being particularly disturbing, unpleasant, and inappropriate, it's quite amusing to be observed like that by someone who genuinely gives off an air of discomfort... The "come as you are" approach in recruitment, fine, why not? But within the bounds of respect, discretion, and basic etiquette, which, it seems to me, are essential in business. Especially since the manager always makes a good impression on me, adapting to each customer, courteous, and efficient. That was your minute of business consulting, and I'm sharing it with you. PS The lentil soup was delicious, and the fries were just as good.
