We got there following a gift from friends. And what a nice surprise. The setting is very nice. The adorable waiter and the excellent food. Although the desserts a little shy compared to the leftovers. But we perfectly understand the numerous recommendations and “Gault Et Millau” style prices.

A nice modern affair of French cuisine paired with a relaxed atmosphere to not be missed in Toulouse. We tried all of the seasonal entrees and the plats with the exception of the tataki. Well balanced flavors with gorgeous plating, their salade d’oreille de porc noir is absolutely spectacular. Plat was equally as exceptional with perfect portions. Wine list consisted of mostly natural wine, not particularly fond of, but did a great suggestion of what would suit our palettes. Shining star of the night was absolutely the tarte poire!

Very good restaurant, fairly average wines by the glass, not as good as the dishes. This spoils the experience a bit. Too bad because the dishes were excellent

Very good address, the menu is short but everything we were able to taste was excellent (the beef tataki was a little nervous, that's the only downside), super friendly waiter and good advice on wines. In short, we will come back

Balthazar is a very nice discovery. Menu limited to three options for starters, main courses and desserts, but what great options! You will always find one suggestion out of the three which invites you to discover pieces of meat that are often neglected and which benefit from being rediscovered through gourmet, generous and impactful cuisine. The plate is full of surprises with unexpected, more oriental flavors that harmoniously enhance more traditional dishes. A beautiful marriage right through to dessert where the sheep’s flan hugs the orange blossom. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the waiter offers very good advice, especially on wines.

Two dinners in the same week in this restaurant. Plus it wasn't my first visit. A variety of choices and renewal of the menu depending on the arrival of products. The excellence of home-cooked cuisine, well crafted but not complicated.

Un restaurant atypique, tant par le lieu que par l'ambiance. Un plat exceptionnel de justesse que je n'oublierai pas. Un dessert très maîtrisé, et un vin très bien choisi. Merci pour ce moment, vous faites un super travail, bravo !
