Having come to the Musée Hébre to see "Mon petit théâtre de Peau d'Âne" by Jean-Michel Othoniel (a must-see, running until December 2029), we had lunch at the Bistrot des Halles. Patrice, the owner, is certainly a character, but above all, he's a wonderful, warm, and very attentive person. The menu is short but sufficient to satisfy everyone. We recommend the fish and chips, and the unmissable calf's head vinaigrette, which President Chirac himself would have approved of. In another life—and he's had several—the owner ran a successful business in the heart of the Saint-Ouen flea market for 14 years. He amassed countless objects and anecdotes, which adds to the already considerable charm of the place. A truly memorable address in Rochefort.

Friendly staff and good value for money with fresh products. For example, the daily special: Charolais beef with homemade fries for 2 pm. I'll definitely be back.
