I ate among the locals. The mussels were tasty, but the local specialty, andoilette, was not to my taste. Especially not when I tasted the texture in my mouth and eventually realized it was made from pig offal. I wanted to try it... The service was friendly!

Busy at lunchtime, even on a Monday in winter. The food is good, the service friendly and quick. At €17 for the starter and main course and €4 for 25cl of wine, the value is reasonable and explains its success. A minor drawback: the fries aren't the best... but the starter buffet and the andouillette sausage (not greasy) are quite good.

We come every year to the scallop festival in Port. And we always come to enjoy the seafood sauerkraut at the fish market bar in Port. It's delicious in a friendly atmosphere with such pleasant, ordinary people. We've loved it for 10 years now. (McDonald's is excellent for hipsters who don't appreciate the spirit of a French brasserie.) THANK YOU to the fish market bar for everything. Best regards, Jlouis Petitdemange

A warm and friendly brasserie. Smiling, quick, and polite servers. Ideal for a coffee break. The only downside is the price of the meals, a bit expensive, but oh well. That's understandable given its location next to a port! Thank you for the warm welcome! :)

Excellent welcome! We've been coming to Port-en-Bessin for years and we're always very well received at this bar! Next time we'll try to spend a little longer! The owners are very friendly! See you soon and say hello to Hugo from the Belgians! And long live the 44! 😁🥰

05/06/2026: Excellent restaurant, both for the food and the service. A very warm welcome, superb mussels, and a fantastic pork chop. Fresh ingredients and high-quality sauces. The desserts are also very good. We will be back.
05/06/2026: We stopped at this restaurant by chance. There were 13 of us, including a baby, and we received a very warm welcome. The service was excellent! The food was great too. We ordered the mussels and fries combo with all the different sauces and were absolutely delighted! The €29 set menu was very good. And the burger was great too. Go for it without hesitation.

08/05/2026: Hello Good hotel, slept very well, the bedding is very comfortable, and the staff is pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and well-maintained. Thank you for the stay.
07/05/2026: We spent a night there as a couple last night. The first impression was a bit awkward with a somewhat unusual welcome from an employee. The room was clean and spacious, but the next morning, after explaining the previous day's employee's slightly unusual welcome, the owner immediately rectified the situation by offering complimentary breakfast. I should mention that this employee had left the establishment, hence his somewhat nonchalant greeting. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but the breakfast was excellent, very varied, and fresh. The staff that day were very competent, friendly, and helpful, so despite everything, I recommend this establishment.
