Bar de l'Entracte sur Paris

You don't stumble upon this place by chance. If you do, you might not realize it's not a Starbucks. It's a place run by an independent and charming woman.

A true gem: a bar tucked away on the corner of the Palais Royal theater, in a charming alleyway. Here, you can take your time to savor the moment and hum gently retro tunes. From Moon River to Françoise Hardy, a unique experience to share in good company! Note: drinks are served, but not yet food ;)

A really nice bar, tucked away on Rue Montpensier. There's been a change of ownership; the new manager is very welcoming, with a great sense of humor, very kind, and puts you in a good mood. The atmosphere is fantastic, I can't wait to go back, especially with summer coming and this amazing team!

Fantastic! Don't pay attention to the reviews, the staff has changed recently. Unique location, very pleasant terrace on a pedestrian street opposite the theatre.

Far removed from the negative comments I've read here, here's what I had the pleasure of experiencing in this truly unique little neighborhood bar: two charming people behind the bar and serving customers who treat them (whoever they may be – tourists, locals, young, old) with care, who relight the candles as soon as they go out, who offer blankets, who are down-to-earth and always smiling. So yes, you're definitely stepping out of the ordinary when you go there, into a little enchanted interlude in the heart of Paris. Thank you to this gem for existing – I've already been twice, and I'll be back, that's for sure!

Don't let the old reviews put you off; from what I understand, the management has recently changed. We stumbled upon L'Entracte by chance and had a wonderful evening with friends. Since some wines were out of stock, we were treated to special prices on more expensive glasses. We were served by William, who was very friendly. The atmosphere was convivial; the only thing missing might be a selection of snacks. We'll definitely be back!

A little old-fashioned gem in a neighborhood like this is something to savor.
