This bar reminds me of my youth, when I worked and ate at a truck stop. I say this because, for me, this is the atmosphere that should continue in this type of establishment.
The kitchen is good. Today, the boss offered us a sirloin and red wine sauce with fries and salad. And the little homemade dessert: a morello cherry tart.
Congratulations to the cook (the boss), because it was excellent!
Not everyone is like me, who would be able to lick a plate if the dish is good. Fortunately, there was bread to replace the tongue!
As for the atmosphere, worthy of a real local bar. The customers are regulars and although we went there a week ago, the owner remembered our last drinks.
That's it, the café restaurant of my youth that I don't want to forget.
Thank you to those who read me to the end and thank you to the couple who welcome us to this place.
