Bar du soleil sur Ramatuelle

Normally an annual event. Unfortunately, the concept has changed, and the influences are now Spanish instead of Italian. Prices have risen enormously, and portions have been minimized. For me, unfortunately, the price is no longer commensurate with the quality... the location remains exceptionally beautiful.

I’ve been here twice and had quite different experiences. The first time, in July, I ate at the restaurant and it was excellent. I had an amazing fideuà — honestly one of the best I’ve ever had, even better than some I’ve had in Spain. The clericó was delicious too, and the olives served with the drinks are absolutely phenomenal. This time, we ordered food directly from our beach beds and, unfortunately, it was a little disappointing. We had the fried calamari and the octopus à lagareiro, and I wouldn’t order either of them again. An exception was the amazing coconut icecream with mango cubes. That said, the clericó was still very good, the view is beautiful, and the sunbeds and lounge chairs are really comfortable. One thing to keep in mind: you either need to bring your own towel or rent one for €10 each. Overall, I’d definitely come back for the setting, drinks and atmosphere — and based on my first experience, I’d probably choose to eat at the restaurant rather than ordering from the beach beds.

A menu with some gastronomic pretensions and strong Spanish influences (the chef has a restaurant in Ibiza). Superb location, easily accessible from the parking lot, on a splendid beach. There's also everything you need if you're heading out to sea. A warm welcome, attentive, caring, and efficient service. Beautiful and delicious dishes. So yes, it's not cheap, but if you factor in the St. Tropez bonus, it's justified given the quality of the food and the overall enjoyment of the experience.

The service was impeccable: the team was incredibly attentive, professional, and exceptionally friendly, without ever being overbearing. You immediately feel at ease. As for the food, it was a real treat! The dishes were expertly prepared and delicious. My only slight criticism: the portions could have been a touch more generous. I'll be back!

We had a wonderful experience at Bar du Soleil, both on the beach and in the restaurant. The food is exquisite and the staff is truly attentive. A special mention goes to Hugo for his constant attention. His presence, availability, and concern for us really contribute to making each of our visits enjoyable. We would also like to thank Emma at reception for her kindness, smile, and attentiveness throughout our visit. An address we wholeheartedly recommend and where we will gladly return!

We were back at Bar du Soleil and at first we were shocked that it had changed owners. But what a relief; the food was even better and the new owner has completely understood what makes Bar du Soleil so appealing on the beautiful Pamplona beach: the simple, genuine hospitality, and every attention to detail to ensure a wonderful beach day on this beautiful beach. Hats off to them 👏🏼

We go to Plage de Pampelonne regularly and have usually been treated to a wonderful experience; but what we ate and experienced at Bar du Soleil surpasses everything else: an imaginative menu, exquisitely prepared dishes—including the sides—and friendly service (even on the beach at the lounge chairs)—for us, everything was just perfect. It is really very cozy place, hidden at one of the best location. The staff was super friendly and professional. Food is top quality!
