La Frégate is my go-to spot every time I'm in Évian (I come very often). The food is truly excellent, both the main courses and desserts. The service is very pleasant, and the waitress takes your order quickly. I highly recommend this place. Five-star service and cuisine. Fred

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent restaurant! The dishes are delicious, the ingredients are fresh and beautifully presented. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and the service is quick. The atmosphere is pleasant and you feel right at home. I highly recommend it, and I will gladly return!

25/08/2026: Excellent meal with a good selection of dishes and wines by the glass. Good advice on wine pairings. Good value for money (€40 for a starter, main course, and dessert). We returned two days later and had the same great experience. The only slight drawback was a bit of a wait at the end of the meal to order dessert, but the terrace was full. (However, this isn't enough to warrant removing one or two stars, as some reviews suggest.)
21/08/2026: We enjoyed the food: we tried the fish dishes, which are the restaurant's specialty. They were delicious: the perch fillets and the smoked trout were excellent. The "bistro" feel is evident in the somewhat impersonal service. The service is very quick: we were looking for a more relaxed experience, and we felt rushed, but for those in a hurry, it's efficient.

17/08/2026: We went for a drink last week and the setting is lovely, the staff are welcoming and very pleasant. The drinks were served promptly and they even thought of my little one 🐶 Thank you for everything!
