03/06/2026: A truly excellent restaurant! Everything was delicious from start to finish. The perch fillet with tartar sauce was perfectly cooked, the tuna tataki melted in your mouth and bursting with flavor, and the poached egg with mushrooms was a real treat. The dishes are beautifully presented, the ingredients seem fresh, and the service is pleasant. You can tell the food is prepared with care. We had a wonderful time and will gladly return. Highly recommended!

02/06/2026: La Frégate is the perfect place to enjoy a good meal or simply have a drink without any fuss, offering a stunning view, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. A truly great spot for a pleasant time in Évian.

15/05/2026: A pleasant restaurant in the heart of the city, the menu is varied with local and Lyonnais specialties, as well as fresh fish from the lake. The dishes are very well presented and of high quality. The owner is very friendly, but our waiter was barely polite and not very efficient.

19/05/2026: The dishes are very well-crafted, both in terms of taste and presentation. The amuse-bouches are delightful and perfectly awaken the palate. We also greatly appreciated the quality of the cooking, the subtle originality of the dishes, and the cheese platter, which was well-chosen, perfectly proportioned, and featured excellent, flavorful cheeses. The service, for its part, is minimalist, efficient, and discreet. Perhaps not exactly "warm" in the traditional sense, but nonetheless very pleasant, professional, and with a philosophy that maintains a sense of privacy for the guests, which is equally appreciated. We always return with great pleasure, for the food, the atmosphere, and the service staff.

31/05/2026: The hotel is very well located, right in the center of Evian. The little train is nearby, and the pedestrian street (Rue Nationale) is just behind it. Santa is very friendly and welcoming. The room was decent, and the breakfast was plentiful. The only downside was the slightly cramped bathroom.

11/05/2026: Véronique and the whole team gave us a wonderful welcome. They were incredibly attentive. The hotel is well located opposite the lake, right in the center and close to all amenities.

26/06/2026: Want to grab a coffee at Coffee Break before 8:00 AM? No luck, it's closed. Want to get something to eat or drink at 6:15 PM? No luck, because it closes at 6:30 PM, but by 6:00 PM the chairs are already on the tables and the cash register is closed, even though the website says it closes at 6:30 PM. In short, I don't recommend the Evian-les-Bains location, especially since it's closed on Mondays. 🤗
