The owner was pleasant, down-to-earth, and easygoing—just the way we like it. He told me his name, but I've forgotten it, as is so common in places like my beautiful old France, which are disappearing and fading away. The pint was ice-cold. Impressive decor, the pungent smell of stale tobacco—it feels like we're back in the Giscard d'Estaing era. I recommend it. Bastien and Lola

La Belle Liegeoise

28/02/2026: As a huge fan of Liège waffles, I couldn't pass up this highly anticipated shop. I first tried a waffle with cinnamon batter, chocolate sticks, and chestnut cream, but I found the combination a bit too sweet, so I went back to try a more "traditional" waffle (classic batter and chocolate sticks). The verdict? The price is extremely high for waffles that are decent, but definitely not the best I've ever had. They weren't very caramelized and were a bit dry in the areas where there was only batter. It was fun to try because of the hype, but I won't be going back every weekend.
26/02/2026: Carlos is very friendly and always smiling. I was served very quickly and the waffles were excellent. I recommend it.
