The servers were very friendly, the beer was good, however, €19 for a charcuterie board with two slices of ham and Emmental cheese is excessively expensive; there was much more bread on the board than anything else.

Le Cercle Rouge is a truly cozy and charming bar, with an unusual decor that's a change from the ordinary, right in the heart of Nantes. The Virgin Mojitos are excellent, refreshing, and always well prepared. It's always a real pleasure to stop by, whether after a bit of shopping or simply during a stroll around town. A great place to recommend! 🍸

17/03/2026: Lovely lovely bar/restaurant with good selection of vegetarian small plates and extensive wine list. Spent a few days in Nantes and went here on our last night- had we found earlier would have visited more! Its slightly off the main drag, but a buzzy neighbourhood restaurant with a great atmosphere. Would have been comfortable to visit there as a solo diner. It had the best vegetarian selection we found and staff were friendly and helpful and happy to speak English.
08/03/2026: A meeting place for the neighborhood's hipsters. Great if you have the membership card!

09/03/2026: This Subway was the very first one where I tried the famous "customizable" sandwich—it's always a treat! The waitress on March 9th was all smiles, which was lovely. I highly recommend it.
