Bar Le Rieu sur Marseillan

It's been 20 years since I've been back and frankly nothing or almost nothing has changed. The place is always very pleasant, close to the sea and shops. Our mobile home was very comfortable and spacious. The atmosphere is warm, the snack bar is great for a moment of relaxation. The staff is welcoming and attentive to vacationers. Thank you and see you next year.

For our first time at this campsite, we were delighted to have spent a week at Le Rieu. The owners are super nice, friendly, smiling, and welcoming. Comfortable mobile home with air conditioning. We've stayed at several campsites in Marseillan and have rarely experienced such a welcome. Stay as you are, don't change a thing.

3rd year for us and we don't regret it, it's the best campsite with the real camping spirit close to their customers, kind, pleasant, funny, helpful, the best of the best, we met super nice people there, it's decided, we will stay at this campsite for all our next holidays and I'm not even talking about their delicious cocktails and meals that are not at all expensive, thank you to Audrey and Cédric for being as you are, you are the best, don't change 😍 Delnef family

My opinion of this campsite: a great surprise! At first, we were a little perplexed by the idea of coming to such a small campsite. We honestly expected something very simple... But from the day we arrived, everything changed. We met Derique (aka Cédric): he was the one who accompanied us from start to finish to ensure we had a great vacation. Honestly, he's almost become a friend! When we had an electrical problem, he came at midnight to bring us an extension cord and a screwdriver. Who does that these days? Then, they opened a small refreshment bar with really affordable prices. The campsite is friendly and very family-friendly! For example: one day, someone's marquee blew away in the wind. The whole campsite rallied together to help protect other people's belongings and pack up the marquees together. A real helping hand! Honestly, if you're looking for a cheap, friendly, and family-friendly campsite, come here! The only downside: there's no pool. But honestly, it's not a big deal because the campsite is located just 200 meters from the beach (and right next to the lifeguard station, to boot). I 100% recommend it! 🤩

We had a wonderful holiday here. The service (communication on-site and via email) was excellent. The owner also spoke very good English and was very helpful. The sanitary facilities were very clean by French standards. The pitch was indeed very large, as advertised. We also got the shaded pitch we had requested, which had been confirmed in advance. Unfortunately, we have to deduct a few points. Our pitch was extremely noisy. Right next to it is a karaoke bar that often plays extremely loud music with a lot of bass until 3:00 a.m. It's extremely surprising that no one has ever said anything about it. Furthermore, we drove home with a tent full of pigeon droppings. Very annoying. I'd like to say that the owner isn't primarily to blame, but there are trees with berries all around that the birds eat and therefore want to get rid of. In the future, we will have to pay attention to this at our next campsite.
