The spot is magical: an authentic waterfront terrace, oyster beds stretching as far as the eye can see, and that incredible light on the Thau Lagoon. And in our glass, the local gem: a perfectly chilled Marseillan made with Noilly Prat. It's smooth, subtly aromatic, and evokes the South and the local terroir from the very first sip. The welcome is incredibly warm, and the oysters are absolutely fresh. We instantly disconnected. A little extra tip: Take the time to stroll around Tabarka's port. This is the authentic Marseillan, the producers' side. And if you want to discover the secret of this cocktail, venture over to the Maison Noilly Prat on the main port: the perfect combination for a 100% local experience!

13/07/2026: Seafood exactly where you want to eat it — right next to the local fisheries and with the focus firmly on what comes fresh from the sea. Oysters, mussels and other shellfish, all fresh and served exactly as they should be: simple, delicious and without unnecessary fuss. Add a good drink, very reasonable prices and the relaxed atmosphere, and you have the perfect seafood experience. This is exactly why we love coming to this part of France. We will definitely be back!

23/08/2026: We were craving moules frites (mussels and fries), and it was the only restaurant on the port that offered them. We ordered mussels with Bleu d'Auvergne cheese. We were very disappointed; the mussels weren't properly shelled and were small, in large shells. The sauce was bland, and we couldn't taste the Bleu cheese at all. However, the desserts were excellent and beautifully presented. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. One small drawback: we had to fight off wasps throughout the entire meal.

04/08/2026: We went to this restaurant based on the reviews and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant was full; we had to wait 15 minutes for a table, and despite the number of other restaurants nearby vying for your attention, it was well worth the wait. The staff is fantastic, the restaurant remained full throughout our visit, and the servers and everyone involved worked incredibly fast to send out orders and dishes at lightning speed. Our daughter was hungry, so we ordered the children's menu as soon as we arrived, and it arrived in 3 minutes. The drinks and food arrived incredibly quickly; they brought us everything we needed and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. They even offered us a round of digestifs at the end. We will definitely be back before we leave; the quality of the food and the price are excellent. 04/08/2026: A bistro-style restaurant on the port. Attentive and friendly service. The menu is short but enticing. The prawn tempura and the John Dory were delicious. As for the strawberry dessert enhanced with mascarpone, it was simply wonderful.

22/08/2026: Having been a regular at the New Orleans, we wanted a change, so I ordered a piña colada (which was listed under non-alcoholic cocktails). I don't drink alcohol, so I only looked at the non-alcoholic options. Once it was served, I realized it contained alcohol. I told the waiter there must have been a mistake, that I might have been wrong, but that there shouldn't be any alcohol in it. I got yelled at because it was my responsibility to specify non-alcoholic. I apologized and asked for a replacement, even if it meant paying for it myself, but he offered no compensation whatsoever. Furthermore, I ordered a platter and asked if it was for two people. He said yes, but it was €18 for a platter that was definitely not enough for two people. The service was unpleasant and the price quite high. I'll stick with my first choice, the New Orleans…

09/06/2026: Small, simple hotel. Very clean and quiet room. The hotel has a large parking lot. It's located opposite the bike path for those who might want to stop along their route. The owners are very friendly.
