Beautiful decor, pleasant music, clean, we arrived right at opening time, so there weren't many people. It's still a shame not to have little things to nibble on like boards... with alcohol, it would go down very well. Very nice menu, aesthetically, I love the idea, the "Aviators" cocktail is good.

Great evening! We arrived early, so it wasn't crowded yet, and the bartenders were able to give us the best recommendations. The atmosphere was great thanks to playlist #5 (not as good as playlist #3, but it's never the best). See you soon, Max!

19/02/2026: I tried Restaurant U Gallia very early when I arrived in Strasbourg, and even after 5 years, it remains the most chic university restaurant in the city in my opinion. The atmosphere is clean and modern, the space is well organized, and the overall experience feels more premium than typical CROUS restaurants. I’ve always had a good feeling about this place. It’s also ideally located near the Bibliothèque nationale et universitaire de Strasbourg (BNU) and close to Alinea, which makes it very convenient for students spending the day studying in the city center.

21/02/2026: It was very good. The food was excellent and the service quick, but not friendly. I would have liked more dessert choices, particularly something with chocolate. My only true complaint is that they doubled the price of my wine on the bill. Instead of charging me 3 euro a glass, which is very reasonable in Strasbourg, they charged me 6 - which is ridiculous. I suspect they did this because although I speak good French, I have an English accent. I doubt this would happen to someone with without an accent. So French people - enjoy! Foreigners - attention!
17/02/2026: A small, simple, old-fashioned restaurant, but with helpful staff and delicious home-style cooking. Excellent value for money 👍
