A lovely experience just steps from the cathedral, in a pretty square. The restaurant has a shaded terrace and air conditioning. A changing table and a booster seat were available for our daughter. The food was good for a restaurant that, given its location, might seem "touristy." However, the prices are far too high (€75 for two soft drinks, two main courses, one dessert, and a children's menu) for the quality and quantity of the dishes. Nevertheless, we had a very pleasant time and received a warm welcome.

Good food.
The ham hock with delicious sauerkraut is highly recommended.
My husband, who loves this dish, thoroughly enjoyed it.
The tarte flambée is also very good, and the terrace is lovely with a beautiful view of the shop. A corner of Alsace to visit, spread over three floors.

The tarte flambée with mushrooms was okay, but nothing special. A little greenery would have been nice.
The staff were all very friendly. The restaurant is in a lovely location, so there's plenty to look at while you wait. :)

Nice little restaurant. The terrace is superb, the atmosphere very cool. However, the dishes are just average, the desserts a bit disappointing... In short...
July 26, 2026: Back to this restaurant, very nice this time. The dishes were good, the desserts too. No complaints. I'll be back.

I really liked the location and the staff but the food was not that great. The pork meat was not very tasty; the jambon was too fat and the rosti potatoes were burned on the side but wet in the center; the flammkuchen was good so I recommend that one. The wine was very good and the staff was very nice.
