A very good address in Biarritz We came there twice in one week. The chef is passionate. The cuisine is full of originality and flavors. The team is very welcoming and the menu of cocktails and atypical dishes to share. A beautiful place for great times. I recommend.

Quite disappointed in the end, despite a nice setting. The place is unique and the service responsive, but taste-wise it was a disappointment for me. Piece of meat by the kilo, triple cooked & co, but in the end with little taste: even if you pick the bone to look for the taste, we are left wanting more. The cooking technique is still mastered: the meat was smooth in consistency, it is only the meat itself that was lacking in taste. Verdict shared by the other guests who chose this same dish. The accompaniment was also poor in terms of taste: a whole soup of fries... Unfortunately more frying than necessary, and a simple oil, which does not enhance the potato. The other dishes would be better (according to my table companions), so I add a courtesy star, but for me it was not a magical moment. PS: the setting remains unique, I recommend going to see Basque pelota sessions if the opportunity arises, it's still just as impressive.

Amazing food, very innovative and surprising flavours, excellent service and elegant yet casual atmosphere. Slightly pricey for the portion sizes, but worth it for the quality and flavour of the food.

I privatized the place to celebrate my birthday on May 18th with 40 guests planned. The evening went well overall, but several hiccups marred this event, which actually left me very disappointed and a little disgusted with this place: - Although I had reserved the place in February, paid the deposit in March of 930 euros or 30% of the total amount (evening for 40 people planned); Aldo called me the same day at noon to inform me that he had made the rooftop available to 15 of his friends for a birthday party. He then asks me if I am ok to share the restaurant from 8:30 p.m. with these 15 people because of the cold on the rooftop (knowing that we were scheduled to sit down at the table at 9 p.m.). I couldn't say no, faced with a fait accompli. Result: his friends came to order at the bar at 7 p.m. already being very "high" and ejecting my friends from any possibility of ordering even though the place was supposed to be dedicated to us. When I tried to tell the waitress at the bar that it wasn't normal for her to exclusively serve Aldo's friends, she responded aggressively "Oh but that's okay, there's everything else from the counter!” I then had to go up to the rooftop to explain myself to Aldo's friends in order to understand the situation and explain that they were not correct when they came down to order at the bar (on several occasions, without considering their environment and being naughty with my friends). Which was quite painful since it was my birthday party... - Then there was a questioning of what had been agreed in the quote in terms of drinks. A glass of blanc de blanc was to be served to each guest upon their arrival. This has not been done. A signature cocktail was then to be offered to them. Aldo and his team told me this was not included in the quote, even though it was. Finally we had a basic cocktail with the cake afterwards... Soft drinks should also be included for people who did not drink alcohol, but that was not the case either: some guests had a soft drink included and then they had to pay... - After the meal, the bottles of wine from the meal and the unfinished cocktails were removed from the tables (spaced aside for dancing), which encouraged guests to have to consume paid drinks at the bar. - The DJ present also invited his friends to the party without saying anything and his friends casually invited themselves to the dance floor... - The pieces of cake were very small, they preferred to keep some for themselves rather than share the excess with us. Overall, I am quite disappointed with the way I was treated during this event, for which I think I was very correct on my part (no negotiation of the quote, payment of the deposit and the rest of the amount immediately and cash). I really feel that Aldo and his team have not been fair or respectful to me and my friends, and I find that very unfortunate.
