Back from Corsica, we stopped for breakfast at Poupoune's and thoroughly enjoyed their continental breakfast. Freshly squeezed orange juice, hot chocolate, a pastry, two generous slices of fresh bread with a stick of Président butter and a mini jar of Bonne Maman jam. And the little extra that made all the difference: a bag of two scrunchies. Very friendly service!
All for €7.90. Fantastic! 😃

A refreshing break during this heatwave. We received a very warm welcome; we ordered drinks and were treated to savory biscuits, olives, and cheese squares. A rare find these days, highly recommended.

A bar more suited for drinks, the charcuterie board is average, as are the pizzas, but the focaccia is very good. The service is fairly quick but not particularly friendly.

A bar on the Bandol waterfront, very well located and quite pleasant.
However, one morning, I stopped in to order the €7.90 breakfast deal advertised on the front of the bar. I told the waiter, "Breakfast deal." He served me exactly what was included in the breakfast deal: a coffee with cream, toast, and freshly squeezed orange juice. When it came time to pay, the receipt showed €11.90. I was surprised and told the waiter, who replied, "You didn't ask me about the breakfast deal... What's the difference between the deal and what you served me?" His answer: "None." 🤔 In short, I paid €8, but I find the behavior unacceptable.
