This is the best restaurant in Pougues; I went there after my train and it was the best because of its friendliness.

Small restaurant, friendly welcome, but be sure to book ahead or you won't get a table. A limited menu, but quality cuisine. Be warned, big eaters might leave hungry, but the value for money is excellent, with pleasant service.

We stumbled upon the Auberge de la Gare on our way back from vacation, and what a delightful surprise! The food is excellent, worthy of a Michelin star for the chef. The dishes are served warmly, generously portioned, and presented in a vibrant and colorful way. Everything was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return—perhaps by chance again—if we're ever in the area! All the best!
