A place discovered by chance during a walk, very warm welcome, well-shaded terrace, fine cuisine worthy of a great restaurant - amazing price.

Excellent meal with a €16.50 set menu (starter of the day, main course of the day, cheese, dessert, and a quarter-liter of wine). Today's menu included: gizzard salad, pork cheek with rice and fries, cheese, and tiramisu. There were three of us, and we were served even at a rather late hour (1:30 pm – in many places, we wouldn't have been asked to leave). We ordered three set menus, each with generous portions, plus a Coke and three coffees, for a total of €52. Unbeatable!

I highly recommend this restaurant; it's very welcoming, pleasant, and the food is excellent and of high quality.

Passing through with the Angoulême fly fishing club, we spent an evening at this excellent establishment. The owner's welcome was warm, the waiters attentive, the starters and meat dishes perfect, and what can we say about the desserts?! Of the eleven at the table, none of us regretted this gourmet experience. A big THANK YOU, we will definitely be back!

I highly recommend this restaurant. It's the kind of restaurant you just don't find anymore these days. Excellent in every way: the welcome, the quality, the service, the home-style cooking, and the reasonable prices. Given its popularity, it's best to make a reservation. The entire team is attentive.
