Bar Sainte Victoire sur Aix-En-Provence

We were expecting a traditional restaurant and in the end there was a brasserie side. We were very well received, we ate very well for cheap and the service was very pleasant. I recommend 👍

We stumbled across this establishment on The Fork, and I noticed it was a short walk from our hotel, right outside of the main tourist district. We were unsure when we arrived, as it had a "locals" vibe, but a server welcomed us at the bar door when we poked our heads in, and we were seated outside. We started with the Charcuterie Board, then shared the Caesar's Salad, and finished with Beef Tartare and Pasta Carbonara. It was way too much food! We had several glasses of Rose along the way, and it was one of the best meals of our trip. Everything was delicious, the pricing was great, and our server was very pleasant. If you want to get out of the tourist bubble, you won't be disappointed here!

I had a burger quite late at night because everything was closed, and to my surprise the burger was delicious. I ate one called La Nogar... the meat had a very good flavor and the bread was delicious. I highly recommend it. It comes with potatoes and salad.

A very English pub on the middle of Provence. Very good prices, excellent meat, really top notch service... look for luxury elsewhere but otherwise ok

Testé ce midi... j'avoue j'avais un peu peur avant d'arriver... mais ça a été une agréable surprise. Côté positif: on mange tout à fait correctement (faut évidemment pas s'attendre à de la grande cuisine) mais tout est plutôt bon, c'est quand même plutôt copieux et tout à fait correct en prix... donc c'est à saluer. Je trouve aussi le service super, on est tombé sur un jeune, vraiment souriant, agréable, qui se met en quatre... vraiment bravo à lui (c'est assez rare pour que je le note et je donne rarement un pourboire mais là, c'était amplement mérité!!) Côté négatif, on va pas se le cacher, le cadre n'est pas fou... au bord du périph' avec toutes les voitures... et j'avoue également que, certains "publics" du bar sont limites limites (on est tombé sur une table à côté de quatres alcolos ravagés qui parlaient fort, qui des fois lançaient des insultes (moyen avec des enfants à côtés!!). Bref, au final, une agréable surprise... si vous avez pas des tonnes d'argent et que vous voulez manger correctement et bien vous remplir la panse, l'endroit est indiqué!

Tested this afternoon... I admit I was a little scared before arriving... but it was a pleasant surprise. Positive side: we eat perfectly well (obviously don't expect great cuisine) but everything is quite good, it's still quite plentiful and quite reasonable in price... so it's up to greet. I also find the service great, we came across a young man, really smiling, pleasant, who goes out of his way... really congratulations to him (it's rare enough for me to note it and I rarely tip but here , it was well deserved!!) On the negative side, we're not going to hide it, the setting isn't crazy... on the edge of the ring road with all the cars... and I also admit that some of the bar's "audiences" are borderline limited (we fell on a table next to four devastated drunks who spoke loudly, who sometimes threw insults (average with children nearby!!). In short, in the end, a pleasant surprise... if you don't have tons of money and you want to eat properly and fill your belly, this is the place!

Good food, nice atmosphere. If you are wondering whether to go to a pub or a restaurant, this is the perfect compromise. Very good food, good alcohol, great service. I recommend.
