Without pretension, but with thoughtfulness and quality.

Under new ownership and off to a very good start with very good welcome, competence in the kitchen, correct pricing. The Rex has been a fixture in the village for years and has evolved in a good way. I give it five stars not because it resembles in any way a gourmet restaurant. It’s simply an excellent example of a village bar and brasserie. A very welcome addition to the superb village of Caux.

Extremely delicious food. Very good service in a mix of English and French (very important for me, a French philistine...). Terrace, then comes the bar with billiards. Behind it is the room for the restaurant.

Top boss and employee! The cooking of the meat as requested, really for a beautiful village bistro, I highly recommend!!!!!

Great welcome and top service, however the portions are just right and the cooking of the pasta was not great. On that note it was a good time

Nice brasserie, well-kept drinks, brasserie food, for example I had baked cheese, steak and French fries, was overall satisfied.
