Let's go back to the comments of some previous customers. It is regrettable to read these harsh and unjustified comments, some of which are Local guides and do not deserve this title...
The owner's responses are an example of moderation and restraint. Thanks to the Dutch for teaching us empathy ;-).
I recommend to the authors of these remarks to try the table of a Michelin star, but they will probably not even be invited to sit down. The value for money at St Savin is unbeatable!!!

For the cuisine it is extra delicious and fresh, the service should not be confused with cook with server, family atmosphere and respectful of the environment
There were 4 of us and the meal was unanimously excellent!! Very good cuisine with good products to which we did honor!!! We didn't know this and are delighted with our discovery. The owners are nice!

An excellent restaurant for a lunch break facing the abbey church. Good products, home cooking, dog allowed and ready-made bowl of water. A very good stop at a reasonable price (Saturday lunch menu 20 euros starter, main course, dessert).
We had lunch for the first time at Saint Savin, the welcome, the service and the cuisine are very good. The value for money is excellent. The service is fast and efficient. We will certainly come back.
