Bar Tabac Le Meynadier sur Cannes

20/09/2026: I was very concerned by the conditions in which the fish are kept at the restaurant. The fish are quite large and there appear to be several of them in a relatively small pond. During my visit, they remained almost constantly gathered in the same corner. I hope the restaurant regularly checks the water parameters and has an appropriate filtration system for the number and size of these fish.

17/09/2026: Hello! It was with great pleasure that we discovered today, September 17th, this new establishment, completely different from the beach restaurant owned by Mr. Marc Bagou and his family, where we used to have lunch. Today, everything is different, and the difference is very successful: there were five of us, all senior ladies. Our main courses were different but all delicious: beef skewers with excellent meat, salmon tartare, seared tuna, and sea bream fillet! Perfect accompaniments and a garnish of freeze-dried lemon and orange slices, which we enjoyed. The desserts were also different: very good tiramisu, Liège chocolate (I think), and panna cotta. The tiramisu was very good, much better than one I had in Valbonne last week. Personally, I'm very happy to return to a place I've known all my life, not only as a restaurant but also as the beach of my youth. It was a very pleasant time spent together celebrating two birthdays! The young people who managed our table were very friendly; we appreciated their helpfulness and attentiveness. These aren't comments meant to be complimentary or to boast, because if we had been unhappy, and I in particular, I would have made comments reflecting my dissatisfaction.
