We had lunch at this restaurant on a whim today, thanks to the excellent welcome from the waitress. And what a pleasant surprise! The value for money was truly perfect. We won't hesitate to come back.

A truly wonderful discovery in Angers! Very fast service. The meat is excellent and high quality. The dessert was magnificent. A delight! Air conditioning during the heatwave. Warm welcome, pleasant staff. I highly recommend it.

We discovered the Barbecue Party restaurant and it was a very pleasant surprise. The value for money is particularly good; for five people, including a main course, dessert, and drinks, we paid around €90 in total. The menu offers a wide variety of choices, especially the daily special, which we tried. Special mention goes to the homemade kefta, among the best we've ever tasted. The service is impeccable: professional, attentive, and present throughout the meal without being intrusive. The homemade dishes and desserts add real value to the experience. We highly recommend it and will gladly return.

La Soufflerie

17/05/2026: Passing through Angers before heading back to Paris, we tried La Soufflerie to discover the concept. The idea of ​​a soufflé is original and a welcome change from traditional restaurants. We ordered a Savoyard soufflé, a ham and cheese soufflé, a salmon and spinach galette, and two sweet strawberry soufflés. Honestly, it wasn't bad, but we left rather disappointed. Perhaps I'm not a big fan of soufflés, but overall we felt they lacked a bit of flavor and depth. We were expecting something more indulgent and with more pronounced flavors. The desserts were decent too, but nothing memorable. In the end, nearly €70 for three people seemed quite expensive considering the experience. It's a shame, because the concept really had potential.
16/05/2026: We arrived at 1 p.m. on a Friday during a bank holiday weekend, having made a reservation in advance. It was clearly a busy period, but luckily a second waitress arrived to help out at the same time as us. We waited almost an hour between our arrival and the arrival of our meal. Despite the difficulties, the staff remained friendly, and we enjoyed our meal (my dessert soufflé was a little runny, but nothing serious).
