Thursday evening... Drinks with a friend. Very friendly welcome. Knowing I was new to Clermont-Ferrand, Lionel and his friend went out of their way to make us feel welcome. After dinner, we came back to finish the evening with the karaoke night, and wow... What a night! Great atmosphere, fantastic clientele, and amazing staff. Truly a must-visit spot. Thanks again to everyone for this incredible time!

I'll never forget the evening I spent here a few years ago. There was an aggressive person who started trying to threaten two young lesbians. The bouncer defended them and got his head smashed against a wall, bleeding profusely. Immediately, all the customers rushed to the aggressor's aid and protected the bouncer, calling him by name and taking care of him. The police were called, and everything turned out alright, but this incredible solidarity left a lasting impression on me. It was clear he deeply loved his regulars, and that they adored him in return. And despite the violence of the incident, I don't think I've ever felt as safe as I do in a place like this, where everyone looks out for each other.

A very good bar in Clermont-Ferrand. It's a shame it's not open more often...

We received such a warm welcome at Le Marais from Lionel and Stephane, they are such sweethearts! The prices are really reasonable, you can go there without hesitation, I love the atmosphere.
