Excellent Italian restaurant/snack bar. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, explaining the different dishes. A set menu with a main course, drink, and dessert was €12.50.
Special mention for the Nutella cake, which was delicious!
Absolutely nothing to complain about.
It's just a shame the Nutella tiramisu really lacked Nutella (there was just a small dollop on top).
There's also a lovely Italian grocery section!
A great place, I highly recommend it! 🇮🇹🍝

Discovered Basilic'o at a wedding in La Rochelle. What a surprise! Fantastic concept, very pleasant staff, and exceptional quality and selection of products. When will there be a Basilic'o in Normandy?!

We ordered lasagna Bolognese and Parmigiana to take away! What a treat! A great place right in the heart of La Rochelle that satisfied both adults and children! The staff are very friendly and helpful with portion sizes! We highly recommend it!

Hello, we were just passing through and looking for a good restaurant to eat at. While strolling around, we stumbled upon the window display of "Basilic'O". We immediately decided to go in and order. And what a treat! We had grilled vegetables, slices of lasagna, cold pasta salad, and desserts: strawberry tiramisu and fruit salad. Everything was delicious and perfect. As you can see from my strawberry tiramisu 😆. Thank you for your warm welcome. The restaurant is very clean, including the restrooms. It's worth mentioning! We look forward to returning someday.
