Best Western Alexander Park sur Chambery

I'll start with the positive: I give 5 personal stars, the welcome, the breakfast, the maids...notably a lady with a short haircut and a dynamic young man. These are rays of ☀️ early in the morning. A little care. Nothing is missing in their presence. Smile, politeness, kindness!! Negative point: power outage, 1st floor bedroom, very cold floor, my son likes to draw and play on the floor, he ended up getting sick. Poorly heated room! We will offer you additional heaters. We have traveled (US, CA, a little in Europe), but for a 4 star it's a bit limited! We change rooms on the 4th, we are suffocating with heat, no hot water that evening, power outage throughout the host. Honestly, it’s a shame! The staff is very annoyed. We were housed by our insurance for 20 days due to a disaster.

4-star hotel, offering many services such as: swimming pool or massage (55€). Staff at the reception, or in the breakfast room, very warm, and also attentive. I recommend this establishment! Beautiful view from the room of the swimming pool, and when the weather is rather favorable, we can see the beautiful mountains of Savoie!

We expected slightly more from a 4 star hotel. : We ordered room service through the QR code placed in our room for this purpose. This promised the food to arrive within 30 minutes. When an hour after passing the order we still didn’t receive anything, my husband went down to the restaurant to find that (!) the restaurant never received the order. Despite the fact that (as they confirmed) the restaurant had been aware that QR code system just doesn’t function, invitations had not been removed from the rooms. Positive: kid friendly. Got cot set up in room. Nice playground 🛝 by the breakfast area.

Convenient hotel for a stopover but not for much more. Located in an industrial area, very small swimming pool.

hotel with a slightly exaggerated 4 stars, but still does well for what it is supposed to do, i.e. a good hotel in a very convenient location. rooms a bit in need of revision but good service and a fairly extensive breakfast.

Very well located hotel, quick and friendly welcome (arrival at 3:50 p.m.). Standard room clean overall despite a few cobwebs, it shows that it is an old renovated building but everything remains correct. The negative point is the layout around the swimming pool, only 6 deckchairs while they have a large space with a pretty lawn which is not used to its fair value. Time to swim for 20 minutes and go get a beer at the bar and here is the swimming pool filled with around twenty people, 2 thirds of whom are children who make my pool inaccessible and compromise the calm of the place which is clearly requested, but I am aware that this is more of an education problem than a hotel problem. The only thing that made us choose this hotel at 156e per night rather than an ibis at 86e was the swimming pool..

We went up for 3 days, and as soon as we arrived we were well received. Top breakfast buffet, clean room and well cleaned every day, On the other hand, we had dinner one evening and what was our surprise was the wait for the order to be taken as well as the dishes, that's the catering service to be reviewed but for the rest you are on top
