20/09/2024: We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, as part of the group, to rest during the last days of our van road trip. Although the building is indeed very aging, it is important to highlight the availability, professionalism and sympathy of the staff! We were welcomed at night in this establishment by two receptionists for two nights, a man and a woman in training. The explanations were quite clear, the check-in was efficient because although the parking lot was full, we were offered the valet service (valet parking + parking) at €20 per night, which we opted for in order to make it easier for us. (complicated) parking of our van. The team was able to be flexible on the pre-authorization on arrival due to the card ceiling being almost reached, which is a real plus. The only downside was the drink voucher which was forgotten at check-in and which I had to ask for during our dinner. The latter was also excellent, we were almost alone from 10 p.m., which is impressive, and had perfect service from Jordan! Furthermore, we had a great time and had a great time relaxing. The hotel has a spa, a Thalasso brand Thalasso, and two swimming pools, one indoor closing at 7 p.m., and one outdoor accessible 24 hours a day (a real plus!!!) but monitored until 8 p.m. We therefore only tested the outdoor salt sea water swimming pool, which was heated to around 27 degrees. The daytime valet team was also able to be flexible with the return of keys, in order to be able to collect several belongings, as well as the assistance provided for parking, with a sign allowing you to "override" the parking regulations in the street. The hotel also has a bar and a shop where you can do some shopping or leave with some souvenirs, such as jewelry, kits or tote bags. For a future stay in Biarritz, we will definitely stop once again at the Sofitel de Biarritz to test the other services! (Spa, Bar...)
