Big Horn sur Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

The Bighorn Bistro has real potential, but unfortunately our visit wasn't as convincing as we would have liked. First of all: The location is cool, pretty cozy and has a pleasant atmosphere. The service was also super friendly, there's nothing to complain about. The staff really tried hard, but in the end it's the food that counts - and unfortunately we were disappointed. We had two main courses and a starter. Everything was okay in terms of taste, but given the prices you would simply expect more. The portions weren't exactly generous, and the quality didn't quite keep up with the price level. Something was missing, especially with the side dishes. Everything was fine, but not anymore. Another drawback: the waiting time was quite long, even though the restaurant was not completely full. That put a bit of a damper on the mood, especially because at some point you just get hungry and are no longer so patient. But what you have to give up on Bighorn Bistro is the great view. If you get a spot outside, you have a really nice backdrop. Overall, our visit was okay, but it just wasn't good enough for the high prices. We hope that something else happens here – 3 out of 5 stars.

American-style bar-restaurant pub. Very nice atmosphere, pleasant waitress and perfect food for the price! The cheesecake is crazy! A must!

The food is very delicious and the people who work are cheerful. I ordered take-out food and it was very delicious, except for the potatoes, which were normal. The Horn burger and chicken burger are delicious and really worth the price

Il y avait une relativement grande queue pour passer le tunnel du Mt Blanc alors nous avons décidé de faire une halte à Chamonix. Nous avions lu de bons commentaires sur ce restaurant et avions envie de manger un bon hamburger. Même sans réservation, nous avons été très bien accueilli. Au début, on nous a installé à l'intérieur et quasi immédiatement on nous a averti qu'il y avait une table sur la terrasse à l'arrière de disponible. Le personnel est souriant et sympathique et les hamburgers étaient excellents. Nous avons bien fait de faire cette pause à Chamonix !
