Big Horn sur Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

I was in Chamonix for four days and this place is the best we've eaten in town. We've been to fancy diners to hole-in-the-wall, but we went back to this Bistro for their steak. That fillet mignon and everything that came with it, is chef's kiss! I highly recommend visiting this bistro!

Great burgers. My only complaint is that it is FAR too hot inside during the summer. Far far too hot.

The steak was delicious, but I had a hard time holding it. The salad is really, really delicious. That carrot salad is really I think I'll keep thinking about it! I won't say anything about hamburgers. ah! I'm not sure, so just ask. Save your seat.

This place is amazing. Try the burgers, the homemade buns(made daily in their bakery) will melt in your mouth! Not to mention vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options!!!!! And don't get me started on the beer selection...actual craft beers in Europe??? Yes please!!! They were able to make a true bourbon old fashioned too! We were in Chamonix for 3 days, and found ourselves coming back to this adorable bistro!!

We ate at Bighorn on our first night in Chamonix. The service was excellent and very attentive. The food was very good.

Great American style food with great view of the Mont Blanc. Interesting that it has gluten free options.

We went back recently, the bighorn burger is still good. Pleasant staff! The restaurant is well located with a nice view.

I cannot say enough good about this restaurant. The food and service were both fantastic. It was so good that we ended up eating there both nights that we were in Chamonix. If you sit outside, you can have a nice view of Mont Blanc from their patio. You will likely need a reservation to do so. They have some really nice non-alcoholic drinks (my daughter and I had the mango mojito and homemade lemonade). My husband had a local beer that was really good. My one daughter had a steak with roasted vegetables, and it was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. We had burgers that were some of the best we’ve ever had. The Parmesan fries were delicious as well. Desserts were excellent. Everything we had there was just delicious. On top of that, the service was truly outstanding. They were efficient and so friendly. If we lived there, we would be regulars for sure. I HIGHLY recommend going there.

Il y avait une relativement grande queue pour passer le tunnel du Mt Blanc alors nous avons décidé de faire une halte à Chamonix. Nous avions lu de bons commentaires sur ce restaurant et avions envie de manger un bon hamburger. Même sans réservation, nous avons été très bien accueilli. Au début, on nous a installé à l'intérieur et quasi immédiatement on nous a averti qu'il y avait une table sur la terrasse à l'arrière de disponible. Le personnel est souriant et sympathique et les hamburgers étaient excellents. Nous avons bien fait de faire cette pause à Chamonix !
