03/05/2026: Dinner for two at the Auberge du Bois Prin restaurant. Peaceful setting, a little removed from the center of Chamonix, with a beautiful view of Mont Blanc. Excellent cuisine featuring local and seasonal products with just the right flavors. Attentive service. All in all, a wonderful evening. I highly recommend it!

03/09/2026: My reservation request for the first weekend of September was refused because the restaurant was closed. It's unacceptable that the reservation slots remain open on those days; I think the least they could do is remove them. We planned our trip around restaurants, and it's not like there's a huge selection in Cabourg. In short, this restaurant is unreliable.

From the appetizer to the dessert, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend Le Panier des 4 Saisons.

22/08/2026: Sat outside with a wonderful view of Mont Blanc. A true family run restaurant. Everyone is delightful. They have daily specials and the price is reasonable. Wonderful cocktail, gazpacho, zucchini au gratin and beef. Only a few minutes from the crowds. Highly recommend.
20/08/2026: My mother had been talking about it for so many years! I finally tasted this morel mushroom tart and I understood why she raved about it so much! A MUST-TRY! YOU'LL BE A LOYAL CUSTOMER WITHIN THE HOUR!

13/04/2026: Hands down one of the best meals my wife and I have had. La Pasta Signature and Gratin De Pommes De Terre. Cépes Et Beaufort.
I have zero doubt that the rest of the menu would be amazing too.

26/08/2026: I’ve ate at Michelin starred restaurants that were not as good as this place. One of the best meals of my life. There is no need to debate if this is the right place for you to grab dinner.
Trust me it is.
24/08/2026: The Mrs and I visited during the UTMB week (quite by accident). The food was delightful (The steak and corn rib side were fantastic) and the service was personable and friendly with a lovely view of the river. Excellent gluten free options for my Celiac Fiance (a rarity in France!) and we will definitely be coming here again. A must visit!

12/04/2026: Best place at Grands Montets - queue for food can get long (like 30-40 mins) at peak times but that's not really their fault - great location, great food, great vibe.
04/04/2026: Incredible! The terrace is magnificent, with an amazing view. The place is very clean, and the staff is lovely—smiling and efficient. We had a "complete" (a local dish), truly authentic! Afterwards, a DJ played vinyl records on the sunny terrace. I loved this afternoon.
