03/05/2026: Dinner for two at the Auberge du Bois Prin restaurant. Peaceful setting, a little removed from the center of Chamonix, with a beautiful view of Mont Blanc. Excellent cuisine featuring local and seasonal products with just the right flavors. Attentive service. All in all, a wonderful evening. I highly recommend it!

27/04/2026: I am am infrequent reviewer, but I had to write about this hidden gem. Rooms are excellent. Slept great in the bed. Showers pressure is fantastic. Views and location are excellent. Hotel is up a hill from the town, but those calories are offset by the wonderful food at the restaurant. One of the best dining experiences I have had.

16/04/2026: Hello! ;) A slightly hidden restaurant... but it's worth the effort to find it! ;) The service is professional and discreet... a rather cozy atmosphere... with beautiful decor... 🥰 The dishes are delicious (especially the goat cheese ravioli... a real treat!). I had a gourmet coffee... a successful visual effect 👌 with the crème brûlée! A nice touch... a treat for our little dog... a lovely gesture... 🥰 Now, one drawback, though... the prices are a bit high... both for the set menu and the wine list... 🙄... For two... €171... Chiara and Stéphane (Les Lyonnais) and Mylkie (Pomsky Creme)...

19/04/2026: An absolutely delightful evening! We savored a mushroom fondue bursting with flavor, perfectly prepared. The warm welcome immediately put us at ease, and the attentive and impeccable service enhanced the experience. Special mention goes to the "Île Fondante" (melted island dessert), a true culinary delight! This is a place where everything comes together for a pleasant time; we will definitely return.

13/04/2026: Hands down one of the best meals my wife and I have had. La Pasta Signature and Gratin De Pommes De Terre. Cépes Et Beaufort. I have zero doubt that the rest of the menu would be amazing too.

29/05/2026: We went to a lovely restaurant for dinner. We ordered tikka masala, biryani rice, samosas, and salad. The staff were respectful.

26/05/2026: Super good food. We stopped by because we were caught in the rain and attracted by the scent of bbq inside. Did not regret a bit! The dishes are well seasoned, well cooked and tasty.

23/05/2026: This restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is EXCELLENT! Everything is homemade, and the fish and meat are cooked on the BBQ—INCREDIBLE! The salad dressing is DELICIOUS!!!! I highly recommend this restaurant. The waiter and cook were super friendly! The background music was great! You can hear each other talk easily.

15/05/2026: We came for lunch today with our two children and were able to find a small table in a corner where we were very comfortable! The food was really delicious, especially the desserts! Perhaps one small suggestion for improvement: provide more details about what's included in the charcuterie/cheese platter. Otherwise, we have nothing to complain about, and thank you again for your warm welcome, the (quick) service, and for this lovely time.

12/04/2026: Best place at Grands Montets - queue for food can get long (like 30-40 mins) at peak times but that's not really their fault - great location, great food, great vibe.

04/04/2026: Incredible! The terrace is magnificent, with an amazing view. The place is very clean, and the staff is lovely—smiling and efficient. We had a "complete" (a local dish), truly authentic! Afterwards, a DJ played vinyl records on the sunny terrace. I loved this afternoon.

18/05/2026: Great restaurant! The place is very pretty and traditional, you feel right at home. The food is excellent and the portions are very generous. The servers are fantastic, very friendly and professional. Special shout-out to the one who came from Saint-Malo.

20/04/2026: A very good experience at this shop. We went there several times during our stay. The staff (a young man and the manager) were always welcoming and friendly. They even gave our children little treats (a few sweets on the way out). A wide selection of Savoyard and Swiss products. You can sample the charcuterie, and when you ask for advice, the staff are always happy to explain. I didn't find the prices excessive! We stocked up before leaving... but I'll be back. A nice touch: the anti-waste initiative at the end of the shop! A great idea to combat food waste! The option to order online is also a fantastic idea. And finally, their sausage is a gold medal winner in 2025.

16/03/2026: Julien, the very friendly seller, washes his hands before serving you the charcuterie, which is rather rare.

30/05/2026: A very well-run restaurant with a veranda overlooking the river, which is a real bonus. Efficient and very friendly service. Excellent food. I hope to return.
