Bistr'au sur Nimes

It was good, but I expected something more refined for the price. The portions were generous, and the service was pleasant. However, there are two dining rooms, and I would certainly have enjoyed the experience more if our table of 15 had been seated in the other room. Our smaller table would surely have had a more enjoyable evening.

Delicious food...thankfully! Otherwise, a 1 hour 20 minute wait for an aperitif, a haughty manager who refused to take our order until the aperitif was on the table...and who clearly didn't know his wine cellar, since it took him 10 minutes to come back and tell us that the wine we chose was out of stock. Luckily, the waitress and waiter were very friendly; their manager should show some humility and watch them work. X Tedeschi

Food: Very beautiful and delicious. Service: We felt completely ignored. As if we were in economy class next to business class. A cursory welcome with the menu... Our aperitif order was taken, but without any explanation of what the cocktail of the day was (the explanation was barely understandable)... Our main course order was taken, but not our drinks... A very good cream soup was placed on the table without any explanation... The main courses arrived, but our plates weren't cleared, and our drink order was still not taken... I called to order the wine. The checkout was done with robotic phrases like "Was everything alright?" All this while the waitstaff walked past our table repeatedly without even looking at us. A shame, because the food was excellent.

Excellent meal. The atmosphere was a little tense (our impression). The restaurant was clean. It remains one of our favorites.

We expected better, given that it's by a renowned chef; it's acceptable but disappointing. The service was slow and impersonal, and we didn't feel welcomed with open arms. I've had better experiences at this restaurant, and I hope this is just a temporary slump.

Incredible value for money and service!! The 3-course menu for €35 is made up of fresh, cooked, local produce. Everything is full of flavor with tasty juices, careful presentation, and a very satisfying quantity. This restaurant is definitely worth discovering because it deserves to be visited and returned to. Thank you for this flawless evening!
