Bistro by Lac de Caniel sur Vittefleur

We were already very disappointed during a group meal in November 2024. We went back this afternoon to stay, and we won't be going again. It's such a shame to have a restaurant that still practices this way. The rather shocking message about the meat cooking method used for hygiene reasons. Nothing reassuring. The wall/pillar next to our table was really very dirty; I hope it was just chocolate, you might say. The burger was of little interest. The ice cream tasted bland, chocolate and praline, if not rather disgusting. I didn't eat my dessert. Although local, but won't be back. It's time to take control of this restaurant. PS: The service was much nicer than last time.... So, the kitchen still needs to be sorted out. Good luck to everyone.

Honestly, still disappointed. This is the second time we've eaten there, but it wasn't much better than the first. The first time, we were very disappointed with the mussels and cream, and the same with the large goat cheese salad with bacon and fried onions, which was uninteresting and greasy. The goat cheese was plain, low-end, and not even melted properly. My husband had a calf's head. The plate was sparsely garnished. The server (bald and with glasses) smelled of tobacco, it was horrible. I've already noticed this because we've come here several times in the afternoon to eat an ice cream dessert, and it was already the case. In short, we left without having dessert. We won't be eating there again.

Impeccable welcome. Nothing to complain about the service. We ate well. The children's menu is perfect 👍🏼 and plentiful (wide selection of mussels, fries, tagliatelle, tender mashed potatoes, ground beef, etc.). The children were delighted with their gifts 🎁

There were about fifty of us, and everything was organized with great fluidity—you can tell the team is used to events. I highly recommend this place for celebrating important moments! We also come back with family from time to time, and often follow it up with a game of bowling: a real pleasure every time. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, and the entire team is remarkably kind, especially with the children—their patience and smiles really make the difference.
