Very nice restaurant. Our table had a superb view of the old quay. Tasty food without complications, a real pleasure.

Un endroit que connaît une de mes amies qui vit en Normandie …
Honfleur est plein de lieux tape à l’œil et médiocre côté cuisine.
Ce petit endroit est charmant, la table côté port offre une jolie vue,
carte courte, simple mais que des très bons produits.
Bravo Anne Marie !!

This charming restaurant was the highlight of all our dining experiences while visiting France this past week. The food is incredible - they clearly take pride in all they prepare and serve. The owner and her staff are just wonderful as are the adorable dogs.
As another reviewer has mentioned, it feels that any negative reviews are from people outside of their comfort zone. The menu is in French only (and why not - we are in France!), and hand written as it clearly changes regularly. Unfortunately some may expect a certain treatment, but respect this wonderful place and they will respect you and serve you wonderful food with charming service.

The place is idyllic: very charming and cozy. The dishes are made by the cook and owner of the place. Simple but delicious dishes. A very friendly and caring server. The type of simple, quality restaurant we all dream of.
I highly recommend the mussel soup and the lemon tart which were excellent!

We ate here on our last night in Honfleur and it was the best meal of our trip (that includes a 5 course meal at a Michelin star restaurant).
The location is small and quaint and you’ll likely only be able to get a reservation by walking in and making one in person. The dogs guarding the door are hilariously lazy, and the woman who
owns it is charming and very hard working.
Our meal was amazing, and made from such high quality ingredients. The menu is small, hand written on the walls, and only in French. I think the only bad reviews of this place must be from people who were outside of their comfort zones.

Voilà un petit restaurant comme on les aime. Situé au beau milieu des galeries d’art, place Berthelot, avec vue sur le port, cette très bonne table ne manque pas de charme. Joliment décoré par Anne-Marie Carneiro, le Bistro des Artistes propose une excellente cuisine maison. Le service est un peu long mais l’attente vaut franchement le coup. Lors d’un dîner en 2019, nous avions adoré ce restaurant et notamment le carré d’agneau. Cette fois nous avons savouré un très bon cabillaud bien frais et un beau magret de canard accompagné avec un filet d’huile d’olive, des petits légumes ou une purée maison. Le pain très frais est également maison. Très bon rapport qualité /prix. Une adresse incontournable à Honfleur !
