An Unusual Name for a Hotel Named After A Very Strong Drink Which is BANNED Throughout Europe Exept In Places Where You Can Drink In Peaceful Conditions

This is possibly the nicest hotel you could wish for. We had the warmest welcome from Victor and an even bigger welcome from his gorgeous golden retriever Obama. We were delighted to have a room with such lovely views over the harbour and fantastic sunrises. The jacuzzi is very powerful with soothing changing lights in the water. The bed is huge and comfortable. The area has an abundance of restaurants and nearby a very popular boulangerie which opens at 6.30 in the morning. The staff are extremely helpful and very kind. Victor went out of his way to help with a couple of things for which we cannot thank him enough. Paul is totally adorable and Tammir cleaned the room to the highest standard. The whole experience was excellent and way above our expectations Thank you for making our stay so relaxing

Had a great meal last night, we had the chicken and also the roast pork Both meals were huge and came with fries and rolls Was inexpensive as 2 meals and one soft drink was under 40 euros

What a lovely stay in a historical hotel in one of the most quaint towns in France, Honfleur. Stayed here one night during a stopover after Mont Saint Michel and prior to driving to Paris the following morning. The hotel is tastefully remodeled yet still harbors historical elements. The staff and front desk were helpful our entire stay! Parking is a short 5 min walk in a protected building/garage. Recommend and would stay again if ever in the area.

Il faut bien avouer que le choix est difficile. Les restaurants proposent tous les mêmes menus, ou presque... Et à des tarifs similaires. La Grenouille se démarque peut être par la qualité de l'accueil, pour le reste, c'est identique. Les plats sont de bonne qualité, à part les pommes de terre servies avec l'aile de raie qui auraient mérité d'être un peu plus cuites. On voit qu'il y a de la précipitation en cuisine. Une autre remarque concernant les prix des apéritifs...... Un simple apéritif anisé (pour ne pas citer le nom....), à 6 euros !!!! On n'est pas à St Tropez avec la grande bleue et ses 30 degrés de température. On est juste à Honfleur sous la pluie.....
