Wonderful welcome to Paris on our first evening here! Very kind and polite server who spoke English and picked the perfect wine when I asked for something sweet. Menu was in English and French. Great selection. Best French Onion soup I’ve ever tasted! The goat cheese toast and honey salad was amazing. And the lentil and egg salad was also unique and tasty. And one of my favorite parts was meeting Lou, their beautiful and soft resident cat! Merci!

Best food I’ve eaten in Paris. Everything was “homemade” by the owner with outstanding taste. The onion soup was especially good. The service was exceptional and our server spoke excellent English which helped make this dining experience our best to date.

We’ve been in Europe for 25 days and Paris for 5 nights so far and this is by far the best restaurant of anywhere we’ve been. Food is homemade and delicious. Service is very friendly. The family dog is cute and friendly, too. The Salade Mauzac is complete meal for 2 people. We’ve had onion soup in Luxembourg, Germany, and Belgium. The onion soup at Bistro Mauzac was the best. The Poulet Fermier was tender, not too spicy, with great potatoes.
