The outdoor lights are still so inviting, a real treat to see them at 10 pm when your stomach is growling 🤭... The food at Buffalo Grill is as good as ever, thankfully Nolan and Mael, the servers, are doing a fantastic job... making us want to eat!!! Thanks to them 👍

Late at night on our way home to the Netherlands, we made a pitstop at Buffalo Grill. Those iconic red bison horns on the high roof gave us a total thrill. Inside, the huge open ceiling creates a relaxed and rustic chill. The late-night service was served with impressive skill. Their juicy burgers gave us the most satisfying fill. It was the ultimate final meal before driving back, and worth every cent on the bill!

At first, it was a bit of a shock because we were completely ignored by an employee since we don't speak French. After that, however, they really made up for it, and most employees spoke good English.

Auberge Le Petit Mas

19/08/2026: We stumbled upon this inn while looking for a restaurant during our visit to Issoire. Everything is homemade, and the portions are incredibly generous. We loved the truffade (a potato and cheese dish) and the stuffed cabbage. Even the ice cream is homemade. Don't miss the chance to stop here and sample the Auvergne specialties while in Issoire. Be warned, this place seems very popular, as the restaurant was packed on a Wednesday evening, so be sure to arrive early or make a reservation.

05/08/2026: As always, a pleasant experience. Attentive staff, smiles and helpful advice are always welcome.
30/07/2026: Ange is a pretty good franchise, but not all of its locations are staffed with people who are passionate about their work. The service is good, the staff are friendly, but there are a few small details or aspects of service organization that could be improved, such as providing a sandwich bag even if it's eaten in, labeling the corresponding coffee under the cup to make it easier for customers to return to the register, giving each customer a tray (even if there are only two of us), and perhaps having more staff to clean the tables as soon as possible.
