Enjoyed a lovely meal here - found unexpectedly en route to Eymet from Roques de Gageac, a real treat with numerous restaurants, cafés and shops .

Visited here for dinner. Lovely area to sit outside and relax with a drink and to have dinner. We chose set menus - the starters of goat cheese salad and the one of salmon were lovely and very delicious. For mains we had a burger which again was lovely and a steak with pepper sauce, which unfortunately was not good at all. It was very difficult to cut and chewy and not to be recommended especially since it was off of the dearer set menu. Puddings and cheese plate were nice too. Overall food nice but personally would avoid the steak.

Restaurant Eleonore

28/04/2026: Just having arrived in Monpazier, I walked in to Restaurant Eleonore late and without a reservation. Isabelle, the owner was very accommodating offering me a table even though it was at the end of their dinner service. The meal of filet of beef was delicious and the presentation wonderful. Danin my server was exceptional and anticipated my every need. I highly recommend dinner at Restaurant Eleonore.
27/12/2025: Christmas Eve: A refined and welcoming atmosphere. Impeccable service. The menu: sophisticated, refined, elegant, and absolutely wonderful. The quality of the ingredients is beautifully showcased by the chef and his team. Special mention goes to the duck breast Wellington. It was well worth the 1 hour and 15 minute drive!
