Bistrot Chez Remy sur Chessy

A very special place, beautifully decorated and with attention to every detail. The food is good, nothing fancy, but if you like the movie, it's a very special place.

This restaurant in Disneyland is heavily hyped, but I don't think it's worth the hype. It's far too expensive for the average quality of the food. The steak and chicken fillet were tasty, but nothing special. The appetizer and dessert were the same. I also found it a bit bland and uninspired in its presentation; I was disappointed. €55 per meal is simply too much for what it is.

Came here in August so understand it will be busy. We booked for 6:00 but didn’t get to our table until 6:30. Service seemed ok to start and then it went down hill, 20 minutes after taking our order we had to reorder as there was an issue with the system. We reordered and brung out some items that were incorrect and had to wait ages for them to come out correctly. We seem to be the only table having problems, when we finished we had to wait another 45 minutes to pay. It was crazy. The staff that worked there say they usually work in Main Street and not there.

I'm posting this note to explain the following. The worst kind of manager is one who makes it obvious to clients that a new employee is a beginner. Clients shouldn't be able to tell. Advice and guidance should be given quietly and discreetly, because it creates discomfort and, above all, it's inelegant. No one needs to know that the employee lacks experience.

Absolutely fantastic, nothing to complain about! The service was super fast and efficient, and the food was delicious!

Our waitress Nolive was such a Darling, sweet and professional. Cant say the same to another old waitress named Maxilla. For context, we were waiting for someone to take our order and Maxilla happened to pass by, we called for her and she gave us the nastiest look. Said "I'm not a waitress, I'm a runner, wait, you are not the only person in this restaurant" First of all, madame, we asked politely so no need for that attitude. We were scared to ask for someone else and waited for 30 MINUTES MORE until Nolive came and save the day. She even apologized for serving us late (such a sweetheart!!) Overall, avoid the only old white haired waitress named MAXILLA As She also gave attitude to another table after us (she must not be very happy in life i suppose, being the only old one there, while the rest are young and happy) Cheers to Nolive and others for being wonderful!!

We arrived without a reservation and got a table at 6 pm. The atmosphere was good, a bit noisy but not too bad. There were two set menus, €45 or €55, a tad pricey, but the food was good. Three glasses of wine for two people cost €40. The bill came to over €200 by the end.

Mediocre food. Nothing special, too hyped. Waiter was terrible, we where celebrating my wifes birthday and we asked for birthday cake when we sat down, but the waiter forgot snd brought the check.

On Thursday, August 20th, we had lunch at Bistrot Chez Remy. We were asked what language we spoke: French. As a result, we had a waiter who didn't speak French, and his English was barely understandable. I was still eating my appetizer when he asked if he could clear the table. I said no. At the end of my main course, I left for five minutes. My son's, my husband's, and my own plates had already been cleared, and the bill had already been placed, even though my daughter still hadn't finished her main course. Considering the price of the set menu, I find the service subpar and lacking in French culinary expertise. Especially since Bistrot Chez Remy is associated with the animated film "Ratatouille," which glorifies French cuisine. Sincerely

We didn't try the restaurant because it requires a reservation, but we did try the outdoor cafe, which doesn't require an appointment. We tried a cold, iced drink called "Sparkling Paris" with a light strawberry flavor; it was truly refreshing and commendable.
