Bistrot de la Place sur Rustrel

01/11/2025: We only had lunch at the inn, whose charm and traditional dishes had captivated us. The dining room and small terrace perfectly capture the rustic and authentic atmosphere. Although the service was friendly, attentive, and efficient, the food disappointed us, falling quite short of some of the photos in this thread. The portions were generous, but frozen and vacuum-packed ingredients were everywhere (fries, salad dressing, standardized desserts, etc.). On the other hand, the chanterelle omelet was excellent, and the daube and pieds paquets were quite good. It was hard to tell if they were homemade... so, a mixed experience overall.

21/10/2025: Very good host, very friendly, very good advice for visits, perfect location for visiting Colorado, and good restaurant. A little refreshment in the rooms would be welcome.
