06/03/2026: Following my previous review, I would like to provide an update.
The manager of the establishment took the time to contact me personally to apologize for our negative experience. She very kindly offered to let us return so we wouldn't be left with such a bad impression.
We accepted and went back. This time, we received a very warm welcome and the service was impeccable. This allowed us to realize that our first visit, during the first warm days and when the managers were absent, did not reflect the true nature of the establishment. The servers had clearly meant well by welcoming a large number of customers, but the organization had been overwhelmed.
On our second visit, we arrived earlier in the service, ordered a drink and a main course, and the meal was indeed offered to us on the house as promised. We ate very well and had a very pleasant time.
We sincerely thank the manager for this gesture of goodwill and for her professionalism. This kind of attention is unfortunately becoming quite rare these days and deserves to be highlighted. Thank you for taking the time to listen to us and for wanting to improve your customers' experience. We didn't leave on a bad note and we will gladly return.
------------------- It's difficult to judge our experience because there wasn't one! We had a reservation at 1:15 pm on Sunday, February 22nd. The first hint of winter sunshine, the streets were packed and the terraces were full! We arrived at the restaurant, no one came to greet us. I had to tell two different people that we had a reservation for two before we were seated. It was very busy, and I understood and guessed that we would be late eating, but that didn't matter, it was Sunday, we weren't in a hurry. We were immediately given the menu, cutlery, and a glass of water. After 45 long minutes, no one had come to see us, not even to offer us a drink or take our order. I was understanding up to that point, but I became annoyed when my husband noticed that people had just been seated by the canal, their aperitifs were being served, and their orders were being taken! We decided to leave the restaurant around 2:30 pm, hungry! We told a waiter (many of them were just wasting time) that we were vacating the table because no one had attended to us after an hour and fifteen minutes. He simply nodded and left! That was our experience, what a shame...

Efficient and smiling servers.
Excellent food.
Very good value for money.
Also tried the brunch: excellent selection.
