A wonderful team of collaborators: the reception staff, the sommelier, and the waitresses and waiters were all efficient and appreciated for their humor. We are in a truly beautiful establishment, as its longevity proves. Thank you all!

12/04/2026: Update 2026, visit 3&4: After having lucked out with the weather, we were finally able to take lunch on the terrace over the river. This year we went twice in a fortnight. The market menu is still inventive and beautifully presented. We're already looking forward to next year!

17/05/2026: We had the four course menu, which was fantastic, in the courtyard. Everything from the amuse bouche of local fish in emulsion to the pork cooked 3 ways in pea puree to the chocolate mousse in a chocolate cup was absolutely first rate. I couldn’t have eaten another bite, but I did because the small biscotti they served with coffee was irresistible. This meal was a highlight of our trip.

25/04/2026: We were on holiday in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue for a week, and this was absolutely the best place we ate. For €15 a dish, we had a fillet of John Dory with julienned vegetables. Absolutely excellent! The fish was delicate and perfectly cooked, and the asparagus, peas, and carrots were truly delicious. My daughter and husband thoroughly enjoyed their tagliatelle with cured ham! The food is fresh and very well prepared! And to top it all off, ALL the servers were incredibly pleasant and smiling. They even offered to take a bowl of food for my dog, which we really appreciated! Our only regret is not having discovered it sooner; we would have chosen it as our restaurant for our entire holiday week! Go without hesitation!

And we can confirm that the positive reviews are well-deserved, highlighting the very efficient service and the attentive, caring staff. As for the food, I'll simply say that if I were to return tomorrow, I would go without hesitation! From the house cocktail to the appetizer, the main course, and the refined dessert, all made with simple ingredients, bravo to the chef and his team! My one-star deduction isn't for the ambiance itself, but for the decor, which could use a little updating. Thank you again for the warm welcome despite our lateness!

19/03/2026: We went there for lunch on a weekday. We received a warm welcome. The dishes were beautifully presented, mouthwatering. And what's more, the food was delicious. Afterwards, we enjoyed the sunny terrace overlooking the Sorgue river. Very pleasant.

25/04/2026: Avoid at all costs. Not because the food is bad or the hygiene is appalling, but rather because the restaurant refuses to admit to serving dishes and desserts that aren't homemade. I'm assured that everything is homemade, yet the fries are plastic-coated and the same as those in the most dingy kebab shops. The breaded fish is frozen, the breading is the kind you'd find in an industrial product, and the desserts are advertised as homemade, but they're not homemade either. I would have accepted non-homemade service without any problem; it's a tourist restaurant on the banks of the Sorgue River, and I don't doubt that everything isn't homemade, which is even normal in a restaurant. But when I ask, "Is the chocolate fondant homemade?" and they tell me that EVERYTHING is homemade, then it's shameful to say that. And by the way, the toilets are next to the kitchen, and the door is open. I assure you, it's a reheating and plating kitchen, not a proper kitchen. Go for the pizzas, they're wood-fired, at least you won't be disappointed in my opinion.

25/04/2026: This is a very popular spot along the river. They seated a large group of 9 for lunch without any issues. The outdoor seating area was huge and packed, very narrow to walkthrough - that's a good sign. It took a bit for service but overall we were take care of. I ordered the Chicken Cesar salad, the chicken was breaded and cooked perfectly. It was the perfect lunch for a warm afternoon!

04/05/2026: An unforgettable pastry shop! If you're passing through, a stop at Pasticceria Eugénie is a must. We tried delicious pain au chocolat and brioches, the kind that stay in your memory forever. In particular, since I'm very sensitive to butter, I was worried the pain au chocolat would be heavy or difficult to digest. On the contrary, it was incredibly light and fragrant: I enjoyed it, a sign that they use superior quality ingredients. Don't miss the lemon tart either: simply spectacular, with a perfect balance of sweet and tart. A pastry shop par excellence where craftsmanship shines in every bite!

04/05/2026: Nice restaurant with a great atmosphere. We booked in the morning for 9 people and were seated upstairs in a small room with a charming vintage decor overlooking the Sorgue River. Very unique... From the moment we arrived until we left, everything was perfect (the portions were very generous, the service impeccable and quick). Our waitress was incredibly attentive, even offering play kitchens for the children. 👍👍 They were kept very entertained... The only slight issue was that it was busy and there was only one restroom on each floor (at least, that's all I saw...😏), but it wasn't a big deal, just something to improve... Thanks again to the whole team for a lovely time, I highly recommend it...

23/01/2026: A real treat at Terminus in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue! The tripe and trotters were simply excellent: perfectly cooked, with a rich, flavorful, well-bound, generous, and authentic sauce, just the way we like it in Provence. The meat was meltingly tender and fragrant, and the seasoning was perfectly balanced. The potatoes, simple yet impeccable, complemented the dish wonderfully and allowed us to savor every last drop of sauce. You can taste the respect for tradition and the homemade quality in every bite. A generous, comforting dish full of character. Bravo to the chef and the entire team, as well as the waitress, for this delicious experience. A must-visit for lovers of authentic Provençal cuisine!

28/04/2026: Unfortunately, our waitress initially pretended that she didn't understand English. Once another customer tried to help and explain that we were asking to have a glass of wine only, she was very curt and spoke perfect English. The ambiance was lovely and the drinks were refreshing. Hopefully, the waitress was only having a off day considering this is the start of the season.

03/05/2026: Excellent restaurant! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal from start to finish. The dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious, and the presentation was impeccable. The atmosphere was perfect, with jazz playing in the background—kudos to Guy Martichon—making the experience even more enjoyable. The staff were lovely, a special thank you to Jean-François, the chef. I highly recommend it; you can go without hesitation!

11/05/2026: Hello, last week I dined at La Prévôté restaurant, and I thoroughly enjoyed the creative and harmonious combination of flavors, the passionate chef, and the team! I dined there a second time last night (a week later), and we had the same impression. The chef even served us two surprise additions to the menu (a very nice touch)! We would therefore like to congratulate the restaurant team on their ambition to explore Provençal flavors with a touch of Indian creativity. Thank you, Sabine and Hans

11/05/2026: We went for dinner. Absolutely recommended. Seven exquisite courses. Perfectly presented. Every course was delicious, with exciting combinations (Indo-French fusion). The wine pairings were very interesting and excellent; the sommelier did a great job in a challenging setting. We'll be back.
