An incredible spot, friendly service and absolutely divine cuisine. There is no doubt about the freshness of the food. The E/P/D lunch menu at 30 euros of this quality offers excellent value for money. I highly recommend.

After a long sailing day on a warm summer evening, having moored our boat half a mile downstream, we drove our dinghy to Rosbras harbor, intending only to have a beer. The menu, scribbled on a slate by the door, was tempting so we decided to stay for dinner. Luckily they still had one table (i recommend tou book).
Local oysters from the farm up the river at the water mill. Delicious. Subtle. Slightly nutty.
Then -my wife agrees- probably the best cod we have had in our lives. Fresh and chunky.. Superbly dressed, shrouded in a light lace-like foamy, gently acid broth it lay on a bed of thick, melting chunks of eggplants and zucchinis and creamy mashed potatoes. The fish was sublime, perfectly roasted. Crispy skin. The flesh slightly al dente broke up into soft, silky slices. Heavenly food!!!
We then shared an awesome pavlova for dessert. A home made meringue with a thin crispy shell hiding a soft lemony heart, topping a bed of fresh strawberries and cream..
The bill including drinks was as gentle as the food was good and the view from the terrace breathtaking.
It takes genius and sophistication to cook simple food.

Excellent food but service too long. We waited almost an hour for the starter, the table next to us gave us bread which didn't arrive, completely overwhelmed at the service, especially since we had the menu with starter main course and single dessert. ..A shame because very good and very pretty setting....
Have to do it again to check, maybe it was a bad day.

C'était EXCELLENT ! Et je pèse mes mots. Étions sur menu du jour (30€ , vue mer, au calme... Difficile de faire mieux dans le coin, et on le connait pourtant bien).
MAIS SURTOUT la qualité et la justesse des associations de notre menu, de l'entrée au dessert ... Respect! C'était un Vrai bonheur !
Cuisine très largement maîtrisée, fine, et généreuse ! On ne reste pas sur sa faim avec le menu !
Félicitations à l'équipe et encore merci !
On reviendra c'est certain!
