Bistrot de Saint Jean sur Rocamadour

We had a lovely time as a family celebrating the end of our vacation. The view from the terrace was magnificent, especially watching the sunset. The food was very good, and the value for money was excellent. The staff were friendly.

First of all, a very beautiful setting, a lovely view, and a warm welcome. Then the food was good, but we ordered it cooked medium. I thought, at worst, I'd get it rare, but no, worse than that, it was practically raw. But thankfully, the burger was very good. Then I ordered a Rocamadour cheese for dessert at €6 a plate. I was expecting at least two, but the plate arrived with just one small Rocamadour and a handful of salad. At €6 a plate, I find that a bit excessive, especially considering the price of three. Overall, a good restaurant, but there are things that could be improved.

Exceptional views and excellent cuisine. We had a lovely family evening. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Good value for money. We highly recommend it. And a special thank you to the manager who promised us a good table and fully delivered on her promise.

Beautiful location. Don't come for the food. Dry duck confit, red wine with vermouth, and a passable dessert. Disappointing.

The owner was very friendly and the service was great. I had a cassoulet, it was fantastic! Excellent value for money. The kids had burgers. Nothing like fast food. Great location, in the shade!

A very warm welcome, a superb view. The prices are more than reasonable: a set menu of starter, main course, and dessert for €28, and it was very good.

We received a very warm welcome, were seated on the terrace with a magnificent view, and enjoyed generous, homemade cuisine – we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Thank you very much! 🙂
