Relais & Châteaux hotel, restaurant, and spa. Spacious and very pleasant rooms. The room service, both in the hotel and the restaurant, is excellent. The atmosphere is peaceful. The grounds offer opportunities for walks around the outdoor café, the swimming pool, and the tennis courts. The park is wooded and features a large pond where squid swim. The park's fountain is magnificent. The hotel's buffet breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Everything is designed to ensure a moment of calm and serenity.

One word to describe this hotel: a gem! Everything has already been said, so I'll simply add that Les Hauts de Loire is an invitation to relaxation and sensory pleasure. I would return without hesitation.

The grounds are beautiful, and the welcome and breakfast were excellent. However, our experience wasn't what we expected, considering we were staying in a 5-star hotel. We had problems with the showers throughout our stay: initially, the water ran continuously, causing noise and wasting water. The next day, the water (both the running water and the water we used for showering) became scalding hot. It was impossible to shower, and the bathroom, or rather the bedroom, had become a steam room. The reception staff were attentive and offered to move us to a different room while we waited for a technician (an offer we declined, as we thought the problem would be resolved quickly). Ultimately, the shower wasn't repaired (and we weren't kept informed of any progress). We would have expected more than a jar of honey in compensation. It was just an unfortunate experience that disappointed us a little; the hotel is still a good hotel under normal circumstances, I think.

A beautiful hotel surrounded by a large park. Very comfortable rooms, very friendly and professional staff. We had an excellent weekend.
